“Bless the Lord, O my soul”

This week has been nothing short of awe-inspiring and I am truly at a loss to find the words to express how thankful and amazed I am at how God is working in our family and how He has brought everything together. I have been looking at this post for days trying to find the right words and finally decided it was best to just hit the high points…hopefully you will see the same excitement and joy in these few words and praise Him with us!

  1. She’s here!!!! Our first little girl was born at the beginning of this month and we have spent the last week cherishing every moment of being a family of three – completely overwhelmed by love for our daughter. So many emotions. All good ones! Today, as we were sitting on the couch I was listening to my precious husband tell our daughter about how she is the result of lots of prayers – from lots of people. How amazing it is to serve a God who hears our prayers and who orchestrates our steps in His perfect timing and plan!IMG_9857
  2. We have exceeded our fundraising goal! People said it was impossible and we knew that it was crazy by human standards; but we also knew that God would provide. As of a few days ago, He has not only provided the $35,000 we needed for our second adoption but exceeded it! We are now set financially to complete the second adoption and I can’t wait to share when we get our second sweet baby girl!fundraising

Thank you to everyone for your support, prayers, and encouragement. What an incredible experience it has been and we know that it will only continue. It is our prayer that God would bless you and that He will continue to use our story for His glory.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
    bless his holy name!”

~ Psalm 103:1
